Cedric "CJ" Riley

Hello, we, Sheldon Riley and Rhiannon Siow, are the proud parents of, Cedric "CJ" Riley, who was born on July 19, 1995. We are from the Pueblo of Laguna and also have two daughters, Shelby and Nancey. We raised our children in Albuquerque, New Mexico; where CJ attended McKinley Middle School and graduated from Del Norte High School in 2013. Shortly after graduating high school CJ turned 18 years old and married his girlfriend, Maria Archuleta. CJ and Maria were blessed with two children, Nathan and Lexi. CJ was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. CJ also loved to play baseball and played little league at Mile High and Thunderbird. CJ also played baseball for Del Norte Knights during high school.

On Saturday, November 4, 2023, late in the evening, CJ, our beloved son, brother, father, uncle was last seen at the Downs Casino First Turn Lounge in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At approximately 1:06am, the Albuquerque Police Department received a call reporting a body was found on westbound Interstate 40 near the Louisiana Boulevard off ramp. At about 2:30am, New Mexico State Police (hereinafter "NMSP") came to our family home to inform us that CJ had passed away. NMSP has provided us with very little or almost no information about how CJ's body ended up on Interstate 40. NMSP has also failed to conduct a more thorough investigation to help our family find closure and has left our family with so many unanswered questions; basically NMSP has closed their investigation.

Therefore, we have hired our own private attorney and private investigator to help assist us in finding out what happened to our son, CJ. This was a very tragic event that our family has endured and we need answers. Any monetary donation will go toward fees incurred by the attorney and private investigator. Any remaining funds donated, will go to help support his two children who miss him dearly.
