Cedric Fray Jr Memorial Fund

The sudden loss of our dear Cedric deeply saddens us. Cedric died in Toronto at CAMH at the young age of 54 on December 11th, 2022. Mental illness did not define his life, but the stigma of having a mental illness and trying to navigate systems not designed for "Men who look like Cedric" led to him literally dying of a broken heart.

The love of music kept him from birth right until his last breath. He was listening to and playing music right up until his heart stopped. As Cedric plays music with his brothers and sister in the heavens, his earthly remaining family and friends would like to launch a fund in his name to support his memorial as well as supporting the work of associations performing mental health counseling,

mind-body therapeutic practices, and other related healing and supportive services.

Cedric will be missed by all who knew him. Our mission is to share his story and allow his life to continue uplifting and inspiring others. In memory of Cedric's short but Full life, we ask that you please consider contributing. Any amount is appreciated.
