Cedric Halloran Project for Student Health
To honor and continue the legacy of Cedric Weston Halloran, we hope you can join us in our project in his name and memory to fund programs promoting Student Mental, Physical, and Fiscal Health (SMPFH).
Cedric loved travel, cooking, investing, gardening, tennis, golf, skiing, movies and binge-streaming “episodes” with (and without) his parents.
Cedric also spent summers since his birth on the family farm in Oregon, where he will be laid to rest, and loved blueberries and gardening. Cedric also was known for his business acumen, stock picks, and he wanted someday to teach economics to high school students. He was an influencer, with exactly one follower on Twitter -- his girlfriend Ivy Leroux. They loved, laughed, had deep conversations and heart connection. Cedric also long struggled and managed life with an anxiety condition, as do so many young people in this often frenetic new world of lock-downs, social media, and social comparisons, - too often not realizing that they are not alone and that each is unique, with tremendous value in who they are as God’s child.
We ask you to join us as we embark on this Cedric’s Project on SMPFH. All proceeds will go towards programs and/or scholarships we identify and create that invite and foster, not excellence, just full acceptance of students as they are, and mental health through movement, sports, cooking, investing, and community. We love and honor you forever Cedric.
2022 Update: Thankful for all your generous contributions. We have established the Cedric Weston Halloran Endowed Scholarship for Pepperdine Law Students to help Pepperdine students in financial need of emergency funds, bar exam study, and school-related aid. We hope to expand the scholarship to provide assistance to help students with food, gas, books, and the many incidental expenses of academic study. Any future (tax deductible) donations can be made directly to Cedric's Scholarship at Pepperdine link. We are deeply grateful.
