CEDRICK THE SATYR
Hello we are the Sorcerercity family
And one of our member is in desperate need of help! He lost his job 2 weeks ago and is now about to lose utilities and the car. The problem is that in his state where he lives in they won't help whit unemployment money, because he worked in a different state and he is struggling to pay the bills while taking care of his sick girlfriend at the same time.
So time is also against them because on the 06. July 2021 the electric will be turned down and on the 09. July 2021 the gas will shut down. Most of the money will be needed to pay the gas and electricity bill and to get Kelley's medication.
He and his Family have brought so much joy and happiness around the world on TikTok and we want to help keep that happiness alive!
Will you find it in your heart to help to keep a roof over our Satyr friend and his family.
And here a few words from Cedrick himself.
I thought that me and my family had made it through the pandemic relatively unscathed but as it turns out we were just one bad bump away from disaster, as you can imagine by reading this now that bad bump finally came. My name is Samuel Hart and my loving girlfriend is Kelley Dunn.
We both had a job working for a telesales company which allowed us to work from home and have a living wage while avoiding COVID-19 and quarantining ourselves during the pandemic. While we were both employed there, near the middle of the pandemic my girlfriend had to quit due to her failing health and the incredible mental strain the job puts on you.
As telesales agents, our job was to be the person on the other line when you saw a T.V. ad for shark vacuums, ninja grills, and many other products; and wanted to order what you just saw. She was just starting to get really sick and that mixed with the unrelenting punishment of phone sales caused her to spiral and her family doctor recommended she step away. She quit hoping to find a new job soon however her illness only grew from there taking her energy and putting her in near constant pain all the time. So I became the only income that was coming into a house that survived on two as I did my best to take care of her.
I started working hard over the next year, taking on extra hours where I could and doing what I could to support my girlfriend as her body betrayed her. With me working all the time we were able to keep most things at bay but bills from the pandemic just kept piling up in the background as even with my extra hours all I could do was keep the house barely afloat and my girlfriend at least comfortable since we could not afford to take her to a doctor. Before the Pandemic we were both really into LARP (Live Action Role Playing) so to help give us back a little sanity and get some self therapy we started doing more original character cosplay on Tiktok near the end of 2020.
We already had the costumes ready and in storage for it to be safe to LARP again and we enjoyed role-playing as the characters so it seemed a natural fit. However even with the fun we were having, the mental stress of the job and the situation slowly began to make me crack as well. Depression and stress made me irritable at work towards the upper management of the company that did not seem to care about it's employees with their policy changes, however I was one of their best earners and a former Assistant Lead (I went back to being a sales agent because they tried to make me a full lead with none of the pay raise, benefits, or title) so they let me grumble mostly. One day however after protesting to a lead that was trying to send me home 5 hours early that it wasn't fair I go to log on to start my shift and find out that I can't. My lead calls me and tells me that I've been suspended for the weekend and that someone will call me. I wait the weekend and on Monday I get a call that I miss from the company early in the morning (I have worked 3rd shift for them for 3 years) on Monday. So I call back when I wake up and no one was there to talk to me. I'm told someone will call me back and then a few days later I get an email from HR informing me of my states unemployment benefits and the last days that I worked. No one ever called back or talked to me... Having friends in the companies Arizona office I learned that the day I was fired via e-mail was the day that the company let a large chunk of there work force go. It seems the Arizona office employees were getting tired of upper managements treatment of them and were thinking about starting a union. So the company brought in a union buster rep, talked to the AZ office agents, and then fired every agent in the company in both offices that might be sympathetic to a union. I was caught up in the firings and since the state had a 'at will work' policy they just let me go. What tiny savings we had went quickly... and I have been looking for work ever since. Kelley has only gotten worse now that we can't afford the medicine that helped her have a relatively pain and depression free existence. We're barely limping by currently with the help of some family as I continue to look for any job that will take me in my area that I'm physically able to do but bills are coming due from the pandemic and we are getting close to loosing utilities, the car, and other stuff that we need to even continue the job search. It's our hopes from this Gofundme that Kelley and I can get a buffer for a few months to find work that we both enjoy and can physically do and pay the bills that have piled up from the pandemic.
We also hope that we can pay for what tests Kelley needs to see exactly what is wrong with her and how she can be helped. If we can get our bills payed and get some breathing room to live we can focus on finding work to pay our own bills again as well as improving and expanding content for our followers and fans.
If your willing or able to help thank you so much for helping our family in this time of need.
