Celebrate Anthony Reis's Life: Funeral Fund

Dear friends, Family, and beloved community, I am Jada Nicole Reis, Anthony Geddes Reis's daughter and I am creating this GoFundMe to raise money for his funeral/celebration of life expenses. As this was unexpected, and we did not have a life insurance policy to cover services. With that being said, Tony was the breadwinner for his Family, he loved being the one to take care of us. We have lost our cherished Father, beloved Husband, dedicated Son, prized Son-in-law, dearest Nephew, idolized Brother, and friend to many.

Anthony Reis was a graduate of the Hilliard Davidson High School where his Mother proudly taught as head of the art department, Laura Elizabeth Reis, who knew her Son as someone who was willing to take the shirt off his back for even an unknown stranger. He was made up of the beautiful traits of both his Mother and Father. He was created by the sun and the moon. His Mother, the moon, illuminated his soul with the appreciation for paint to a canvas, pen to paper, and the swaying of the trees in the wind. She lit the spark of artistic expression within his heart. The sun is his Father, Stephen Reis, who shone down upon his essence, inspiring his love for the vibrations of music, his fondness for all living things, and his taste for dedication. Perhaps some of you have heard of an Athens, Ohio based (little) and well-known band by the name of McGuffey Lane, Steve Reis is one of the original founders when the band begun many years ago. Together, the sun and the moon created a graceful man with an old soul, Anthony Reis. Even when he had nothing, he always gave everyone something, even if it was just a smile.

We are currently trying to make these difficult decisions, making arrangements to send him off the way he truly deserves. None of this seems real. Please keep an eye out as we will provide the date and time of service once planning is complete. Thank you.
