Celebrate Beverley's Life: Funeral and Research Fund
In lieu of flowers, we are accepting donations to support funeral expenses and medical research that was important to Beverley.
Born in London, England, but considering Brooklyn her home, Bev served the medical community with distinction for over 32 years. She was a lover of knowledge, and this made her a phenomenal nurse.
She had an unrivaled smile and laughter that lit up every room. Her gift was caring for and fighting for those in need. Her talent was to share words of wisdom and encouragement with all those around her. Her treasure was her mischievous and childlike soul. As an 1199 member, her final years were spent taking care of the most vulnerable at Lindenwood Nursing Home. Here she kept her patients thriving throughout COVID and then helped them rebuild their post-pamdemic lives.
We remain in shock and sorrow as we carry on her legacy and work by celebrating her life on Saturday, March 22nd at the Corner Stone Baptist Church at 574 Madison Street, Brooklyn, NY 11221. Viewing at 9am, Services at 10am.
