Since 2015, NELA Block Party Mercado has been a vital celebration of our diverse community, highlighting the rich history and vibrant spirit of our local artisans, performers, and businesses. This cherished event elevates both new and long-standing small businesses along York Blvd., offering a platform that fosters local pride and creative expression.

Each year, Mi Vida proudly curates the entertainment at the corner of York Blvd. and Ave. 52, showcasing live performances that celebrate our local creatives!

This year, despite past support from our district reps, we were unable to secure city funding. However, we believe in the power of community and are turning to our incredible network of supporters to help us make this year’s festival a success. Your contributions will show that our community’s strength and unity can achieve more than any seasonal challenges. We’re grateful for any support you can offer to keep this celebration of local culture thriving! To make this year's festival even more dynamic, we are raising funds for a small stage to properly feature our incredible local talent.

This year's festival takes place on October 12th from 3-8pm in Highland Park. We are excited to be, once again, collaborating with Friends Over Followers, managing the production of our entertainment. Together we share a wealth of experience ensuring this year’s performances will be memorable.
