Celebrate Delonte Smith's Life and Legacy

The Smith family has lost brother, father, son, nephew, friend, cousin Delonte A. Smith on a Tuesday afternoon on October 8th 2024. Born and raised in Washington D.C. Delonte was a family guy, loved sports and was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan in a household of Redskins at the time. He was competitive, played almost every sport from football to baseball and was even a chess champion back in his youth. Everybody who really knew tay was in for a good laugh! As intimidating as he looked with those droopy eyes he had a sense of humor like no other to those that were close to him. He leaves a legacy of love behind in so many, his mother Vickie Smith, brother Monteriel Smith, sister Sheraé Smith and his one and only daughter Amya Hudson. Delonte gave his life to Jesus Christ at Pilgrim Baptist church in his late 20s and god gave him his wings and we want to celebrate his life. We need to put an end to gun violence, Please sow what you can and keep the family in prayer.
