Celebrate Destiny Diamond Fry's Life

Donation protected
Some knew and some didn’t about my little girl Destiny Diamond Fry. She was born on October 21, 1999. She was born with severe medical issues. I had her when I was 19 years old and had to be transferred for her birth to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center because they had thought something might be wrong with her while I was pregnant. When she arrived her problems were even more severe than the doctor's had possibly anticipated. The doctors advised me because of how young I was that I should put her in a home. I couldn’t even fathom the idea of doing that to my baby. I said no way she’s my baby, she’s my responsibility and I will do everything I can to bring her home. That was exactly what I did she came home to live with myself and her father, and was home with us for 25 years. In that time, I did so much research and tried to figure out what I could do to make sure she could live the best life that she could. With all the struggles and hoops that we had to go through to help her, she actually was the best thing ever that happened to my life. She made me grow up really quick and learn how to be responsible. She taught me so much more than she would ever know about life. She truly was a blessing to me. I would describe her as a puzzle. I would have to put pieces together and be on my toes every day to figure out what I could do to keep her healthy, comfortable, and happy. I loved her dearly. She passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 25 years old. 25 years old, they told me she would only live for a couple years and then maybe five years and then maybe 10 years but she made it all the way to 25. She is finally at peace. I want to thank all my in-home nurses that helped my little girl you were truly her friends and mine as well. I feel so blessed to have been able to be her mother.
If anyone knows me it’s so hard for me to ask for help, but at this time I truly do need help and if anyone can help and donate anyway to celebrate my daughter’s life, it would be very, very kind of you. I understand not everyone may be able to donate, if you’re not able to, I understand, but even sending prayers for me and my family would be wonderful. Thank you.
