Dylan George Kempton tragically died at the young age of 33 in his hometown of Peacham, Vermont, in a catastrophic flood late Wednesday evening on July 10th, 2024.

Dylan, born on March 14th, 1991, was the life of the party; his light shone in any room (or field) he walked in. Following the footsteps of his grandfather, George Leonard Kempton, Dylan was a loving father, husband, son, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew, friend, and farmer.

He lived his life fully, enjoying every moment outdoors, farming, fishing, hunting with his dog Thomas, tinkering on a various assortment of vehicles, and listening to classic rock (air guitar connoisseur!). Dylan was in constant motion: a productive, hard-working, self-starter with big ambitions and productive actions. His drive was matched by his generous spirit, offering a helping hand to his community and loved ones at any moment.

His proudest accomplishment is undeniably the love and life he shared with his wife and soulmate, Brittany Regis Kempton. Knowing they had something special within minutes of connecting, on a snowy February evening, Dylan and Brittany spent almost ten years together. They celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on June 30th and share two beautiful sons, Leo George, 4, and Ivan Mark, 2, who both embody Dylan’s mischievous smile and joyous nature.

His spirit will live on in the trees and the breeze, sunrises and sunsets, rainbows and butterflies, in his sons and all those who had the honor of loving him. Dylan was known far and wide and loved by so many.
