Help us to build a Yoga Shala in Honor of Erin Larsen's Life

What started as a fundraising effort to help pay for a Celebration of Life has evolved into something much more meaningful: to keep Erin’s dreams alive and cement her legacy by building a Yoga Shala in her honor. The location of this Shala (Retreat Center) will be in Fayetteville, WV.

Shala is a Sanskrit word meaning “home” or “school”. The Yoga Shala will be a gathering place for students of Yoga, Thai Bodywork, and Wellness. It will be a venue to practice, learn, share, experience, and grow. It will specifically focus on offering women’s retreats for women in need. This will also serve as a mechanism for local Yoga teachers and business owners to carry on the mission Erin started, which is to share the benefits of a healthy, adventure filled lifestyle, and take people to places they never imagined they could go.

Thank you so much to all who have already donated. Out of this tragedy we will create something larger and more impactful than Erin and I could have ever done on our own.

100% of all proceeds donated to this cause will go to the construction of the Yoga Shala.

As we embark on this quest to make Erin’s dream of having a Yoga Shala come true we will be sharing updates and celebrating milestones. Our hope is to break ground in the spring of 2025, but we need a little help from our friends. The first set of gentle steps in this process is to raise money, spread awareness, and collaborate on her honor.

We miss you madly Erin, but we know you will continue to be our guiding light through these traumatic times. We are so grateful and humbled by the outpouring of support and want to make sure we do something powerful with this tragic moment in our lives.

The Celebration of Life will be held on the evening of 10/26/24 in downtown Fayetteville, WV. Details will be forthcoming.
