As we bid farewell to the year 2018, let us take a moment to remember some of the highlights of a wonderful year of music making.
Since its creation, FIME has sought to provide a platform for young promising artists of South America in a program that connects them to today’s leading performers. In the words of our Artistic Director, Francisco Vila, this is a one of kind opportunity that could mark the difference in the future of the incredible and untapped talent of our countries.
Equally important is our awareness of the social responsibility that we have as a platform, which seeks to enrich cultural life of Ecuador and its neighboring countries. In our four years of existence we have worked tirelessly to provide an inclusive platform that brings together people of all social strata into the concert halls and our different artistic activities.
We take pride in the fact that our efforts at Festival Esmeraldas have become more than just a platform for artistic growth but one that through our art continues to connect artists and audiences, building a sense of community between everyone involved.
