Hello from Horton by the Stream! We are a grassroots Theatre Project celebrating our 30th Anniversary Season in beautiful Greene County, NY. We have been celebrating the work of Master Storyteller of the stage and screen, Horton Foote, Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama (The Young Man from Atlanta) & the Academy Award ( To Kill A Mockingbird, 1963; Tender Mercies, 1984).
Please help us continue to bring stellar Theater to Greene County!!
Our 30th Anniversary Season includes our Benefit on July 27,2024 @530 pm; Doctorow Center for the Arts, Hunter, NY. We will be screening Horton Foote: The Roads to Home, a Documentary film about Horton Foote’s life and work with Special Guests Filmmakers Anne Rapp & Peter Odabashian. Enjoy wine and cheese and munchies by The Pantry.

Our regular season is a Celebration of one of Horton Foote’s earliest works, Texas Town, featuring many alumni from past years including Steve Bradbury & Charlotte Booker of Hi Honey I’m Home fame.
