Celebrate James Tomkins' Legacy at Memorial Park

Dear Friends and Family,

This GoFundMe has been arranged to fund a heartfelt memorial to honor our dear friend, James Tomkins, who touched so many lives.

After his (begrudging) love for the TC Jester Bridge, was his favorite place to run and mingle with the friends of Runner's High Club, was Memorial Park in Houston, TX.

James had a special place in his heart for this beautiful park, when Monica first moved to Houston, James proudly introduced her to Memorial Park, declaring it was even better than Central Park! It was there that they shared countless miles, laughter, and conversations, alongside the amazing Runner's High Club community that James cherished deeply.

In memory of James, we want to create a lasting tribute where we can all go to say hello and feel his presence during our long runs. We’re raising funds to purchase a commemorative paver in Memorial Park, a place that holds so many cherished memories of James. This paver will not only be a tribute to his memory but also a place where his friends and family can gather to honor him, reflect on his impact, and share stories about the incredible person he was.
