Celebrate JJ's Life: Support His Memorial

Hello, my name is Sandy Prince. I am creating this account on behalf of my brother, John Garcia, whose life was cut short two days before Thanksgiving. John, also known as JJ, was having stomach issues for a couple of months when he finally decided to go to the doctor. While they were running tests and sending him back home, he became so ill that he ended up in the emergency room. After one week of being admitted to the hospital, they gave my brother the worst news he would ever receive. He was diagnosed with stage four aggressive stomach cancer. He was at the very end of stage four. As you can imagine, this was devastating news to our family as we thought he was the healthiest one. JJ died three weeks after being in the hospital. This tragedy was thrust upon our family, and to this day, we are in somewhat of disbelief. He leaves behind two adult sons who were his world. JJ had a very humble occupation that he took much pride in. He loved to work and take his son John Junior out on the weekends. His only worry about leaving this earth was the financial welfare of his biological son. My brother asked to be cremated because he knew he could not afford a funeral. He is in the process of being cremated; however, we would like to have a celebration of life in his honor. If you can find it in your heart to contribute to this cause, we would be forever grateful.
