In Loving Memory of Juanita Carrillo: A Legacy of Strength and Love
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved grandmother, Juanita Carrillo. On 12/07/2024, after a long and brave battle, we lost a woman whose love, strength, and unwavering kindness defined our family. Her absence leaves a deep ache in our hearts, and we are still coming to terms with the reality that she is no longer with us.
Juanita’s journey was nothing short of extraordinary. She fought cancer with unmatched strength and determination. For months, she endured the pain and exhaustion of rigorous chemotherapy treatments, all while maintaining her incredible ability to care for others. She was a true warrior—fighting for her life, and for the family she loved so deeply. Every step of the way, her spirit remained unbroken, and her love for us was a constant source of light.
Unfortunately, after so much hard-fought strength, the cancer returned. This time, it was far more aggressive. Despite her fierce resolve, her health declined rapidly, and we watched helplessly as the disease took hold of her body. The pain of losing her so quickly after such a brave fight is beyond words. She was a woman who had always been there for us—strong, loving, and full of life—and to see her taken so suddenly has left a hole in our hearts that will never truly heal.
Juanita was more than a grandmother; she was the cornerstone of our family. She gave love freely, without hesitation or expectation. Her laughter, her warmth, her way of making everyone feel seen and valued—these are the things we will carry with us forever. Even in her final days, she found ways to comfort us, telling us to be strong, just as she had always been. Her legacy of love and resilience will live on through each of us.
As we navigate this devastating loss, we are turning to those who loved her and those who want to honor her memory. This GoFundMe is to help cover the costs of church services, flowers for the viewing as well as allow us the space to grieve without the weight of financial burden. Every donation, every share, and every prayer means more than words can express.
We are eternally grateful for your support, as we learn to live without her in the physical world, but knowing her spirit and her love will remain with us always.
Thank you for helping us honor the life of a truly remarkable woman, and for standing by our family during this incredibly difficult time.
With love and gratitude,
Her grandson, Exsgar Andrade and Family
