Celebrate Kasey Fox's Life and Legacy
Donation protected
Our hearts are heavy as we share the heartbreaking news that our dear Kasey Fox passed away on April 12th in a tragic accident on Hwy 22.
Kasey was a true staple of the Detroit community—known for his boundless energy, generous heart, and signature neon pink and yellow. You could always find him down at the docks with his beloved dogs, Jazz and Roxy, by his side.
He was the guy who showed up—ready to lend a hand, fix what was broken, or simply brighten your day. Whether it was rescuing stranded boats, retrieving lost floats, or just sharing a laugh, Kasey made life better for everyone around him.
At just 40 years old, he lived more than most do in a lifetime. A master of so many things—boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, skateboarding, tree work—you name it, Kasey did it with heart and soul.
He was a storyteller, a thrill-seeker, a friend, a brother, and most importantly, a beloved son.
This message is shared on behalf of his mother, Momma Renee, Father Mark and Sister Jenna who mourns the loss of her “punkin.” Their love for Kasey is immeasurable, and the grief is felt by all who knew and loved him.
Please help us honor Kasey’s memory by sharing your stories or photos in the comments below. Let’s celebrate the light he brought to our lives and the legacy he leaves behind.
He will be missed beyond words—but never, ever forgotten.
Please mark your calendar for the last weekend of May — we’ll be coming together to celebrate Kasey’s life. More details will follow as we make arrangements, but we hope you’ll be able to join us!
