Celebrate Mila's Life and Legacy

Donation protected
We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of our beloved Mila Sterling—artist, cousin, friend, daughter, graphic designer, bon vivant, proud cat mama.

Please help us raise funds to cover memorial service costs for our beloved Mila Sterling, who passed suddenly on March 17, 2025.

As you may know, Mila attended Oakwood from 4th through 12th grade and graduated with the Class of 1990.

A memorial service will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 19, 2025, at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, located at 6000 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90038.

Please RSVP to Mila's cousin Marnie Breecker if you have not done so already.

Mila LOVED food, so we want to celebrate and honor her with a lovely post-memorial gourmet spread. The family has requested donations to help cover the memorial costs that include a flower vase for the niche, an inscription for the niche, a photo on the niche, flowers, and food.

***Also, there will be an exhibit of Mila's artwork in Los Angeles this summer. The date will be announced in the near future. If you could not make the memorial, perhaps you could attend her art exhibit, or both!!! The family has requested funds to support this endeavor as well. Stay tuned!!!

Any donations that exceed the memorial costs will be donated to the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation in Mila's name.

No contribution is too small!!!

With gratitude for your support!!
