Support And Honor Mom Final Wishes: Celebrate Momma's Life

Donation protected

On 12/3/2024 at 3:16 pm Momma crossed over to be with Jesus Christ.

As many of you know asking for help is not easy nor what us Escobar’s typically do. But during this time we have to put our pride aside and ask for help to help fulfill momma’s wishes.
I am reaching out to ask for help to raise funds for my momma’s cremation, celebration of life and to help honor her final wishes. Our goal is $10,000, we would be grateful for that amount but as well would love to see it go above as we want to ensure we fully honor mommas wishes. Momma did not want us to worry financially and asked to make sure dad took some time to properly grieve as she new it was going to be a very hard time for him. She asked that we pass the hat and see what we could do to honor her wishes. Dad tried to make sure they were prepared for this but unfortunately momma did not meet the minimum date required for her life insurance to pay out.

Pappy has worked as minimal as possible these past few months as he has primarily focused on being with and caring for momma. Dads whole schedule revolved around taking the best care of mom as best he could, picking up medicine and being here to sit with her as she was declining in health. I am trying to ensure Dad is not stressing himself with financial difficulties.

Momma was very spiritual and was a firm believer in Jesus Christ. Momma raised us to believe in Jesus Christ and to know that it is a blessing when the time comes to get to go to heaven. she would not want us to be sad and cry. She wants us to rejoice, be happy and remember all the good times we had with her. Momma wanted a big celebration of life. To
know that she is not in pain anymore and that she is able to breath and walk on her own; that she is dancing, signing and loving every moment up there in heaven.

To everyone who showed up and was part of mommas Organ Donor Honor walk I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. While walking with my daddy and brothers I found myself looking back and forth just filled with joy even in that hard moment, just seeing the amount of love and support in the halls with everyone lined up from her CCU room all the way down to the OR hallway. Then to look back see mammy’s grand babies, all the family and friends fall in line and walk with us was breathtaking. To say the Lord’s Prayer all together out loud and proud where you could hear it echo down the halls was so beautiful. I will cherish those moments forever.

As of now we know momma saved 3 lives with 2 kidneys and her liver; as well blessed someone with her eyes and tissues. We will continue to get updates on other lives she was able to bless. Momma signed up to help save other lives by being an Organ donor including skin, tissue, vessels and even for research to potentially advance medicine in the times to come. It is an honor to see the process and see how many lives momma is blessing. She was all about love, kindness, helping and healing others. In this way my mom is and will continue to be blessing those in need.

Momma sure did leave an imprint.

December 3rd, is Giving Tuesday, one of the most important days of the year for our thousands of CFC charities. Giving Tuesday marks the beginning of the holiday giving season and has become a global day of charitable pledging celebrated on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

AND

John 3:16 ; "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life".

Please share where you feel appropriate and please add any kind words so that even people who don't know us and our family can understand who momma was and how she has effected this world. She would give a stranger her last dollar, the shirt off her back or the last piece of food she had. We are a family that has always loved to give. Just in this time we’re asking for much needed help.

Thank each and every one of you for the continued support, love and prayers.
