Celebrate my 40th birthday by supporting Newfs in need!

In lieu of gifts for my 40th birthday, I'd love for my friends and family to consider supporting an organization that is near and dear to my heart - the Newfoundland Club of America Charitable Trust. The mission of the NCA Charitable Trust is to distribute funding in support of research grants to study health issues affecting Newfoundlands, provide necessary monetary aid for Newfoundland rescue assistance, and to award educational scholarships to junior Newfoundland fanciers.

As you probably know, Bruce is a product of the generosity of donors: he was rescued by Old West Newfoundland Club in 2019, where a small group of dedicated volunteers provided vetting and behavioral support so he could find his way to me and charm everyone he's ever met since. (Well, except maybe the FedEx guy.)

Without the Trust, Bruce and so many other Newfs would not have the opportunity to find their forever homes - a place with a warm bed, a full belly, a loving touch, and the sense of security to embody the true spirit of these incredible creatures, as Lord Byron described in 1808:

Beauty without vanity,

Strength without insolence,

Courage without ferocity,

And all the virtues of man

Without his vices
