Celebrate Mynam's Life with a Lasting Tribute

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

With profound sadness, we share the unexpected passing of Mynam Thi Nguyen, at age 67 on September 17th, 2024, from a brain aneurysm.

Mynam was a beloved wife, mother, community member and teacher that dedicated 23 years as a preschool teacher at Bracher Children’s Center -where she lovingly cared for countless children. She also worked as an ESL aid, helping refugees and immigrants transition to life in America by teaching them English and providing food and supplies to those in need. Mynam went above and beyond for her students, often cooking meals during her lunch breaks to ensure no child she taught went hungry. Her selflessness and generosity touched many lives.

To honor her life and legacy, we are raising funds to:

1. Donate $5,000 to Bracher Children’s Center to provide school supplies and resources for the children she supported.

2. Raise $5,000 for a memorial bench at Bracher Park, where she was a cherished figure in the community.

3. Cover some funeral expenses related to memorializing her. The rest would be donated.
