Conrad Lewis Jordan, 92, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN. Born on November 10, 1931, Conrad, affectionately known as Connie, dedicated his life to his family and his country, serving in the United States Navy from April 16, 1951, to April 6, 1955.

Connie retired from FedEx, where he was respected and valued for his dedication and work ethic. Beyond his professional life, he was a member of Mensa, reflecting his love for intellectual challenges. Connie had a love for limericks, good jokes, and was a great storyteller.

Connie is survived by his loving wife, Truth Joy Jordan; his children, Glen Jordan (fiancée Rene Larue) and Sheryl Jordan; his step-children, Cindy Loyen, Gary Maguire, and David Maguire; his cherished grandchildren, Mike Loyen, Angela Nunez-Bowman (spouse Joshua Bowman), Corey Maguire, Courtney Maguire, and Chloe Maguire; and his great-grandchild, Dyllyn Bowman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Margaret Jordan, his brother, Cyrus Jordan, and his sister, Barbara Nichols.

An avid collector of rare weapons, books, model cars and airplanes and geode rocks, Connie enjoyed sharing his passions with friends and family. He also cherished spending time with his two dogs, Sally and Jewel, and relaxing in Nashville, Indiana.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held on October 30, 2024, at the following times: Public Viewing from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Funeral Service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and Graveside Service from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

Connie's life was marked by his unwavering support for his family, his intellectual pursuits, and his service to the nation. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
