Celebrate the Life of Howard Cruse, NYC
Donation protected
Howard Cruse, award-wining cartoonist, "godfather of gay comics," and one of the kindest souls in the comics community, died after a brief battle with lymphoma on November 26, 2019. Please help us celebrate his life and art with a memorial event at The LGBT Community Center in New York City.

6-8:30 pm
The LGBT Community Center, Room 301
208 W 13th St, NYC
I am the editor of the 25th-anniversary edition of Howard's groundbreaking graphic novel, Stuck Rubber Baby. I'm working with a group of his friends and colleagues to host a memorial event in New York—a city where Howard practiced his art-making and activism, and where he met his partner of forty years, Ed Sedarbaum.
We are trying to raise $6,500 to cover the cost of the venue and catering. After these costs are covered, any additional donations will go to Howard's estate.
Thank you for your support.
