Our best friend, Lorena McDow passed away suddenly, but peacefully, due to a brain bleed in Thailand on 11/12/19 while traveling the world with her family and living her dream. Lorena left behind her loving husband Sean, and two beautiful daughters Mireya (19) and Gaby (7). She was only 38 years old. Her family needs your help - whatever you can do, will go a long way.
An amazing wife, mother, daughter, artist, and friend - Lorena was so full of life and ambition. Please help us raise money to support her family during this tragic loss and to help ease their transition into this next chapter, which won’t be easy - but could be a bit easier, with your help.
Lorena and her husband, Sean, followed the direction of their hearts. They sold everything they owned to travel the world in search of the perfect place to call home. The message Lorena continually shared with us during her travels was how little material things you need in this world and the most important thing is “togetherness.” Their travels became an important life lesson for the girls - learning about how others live in this world, and although we are all very unique - we are all one on this earth and when we slow down and really experience the life before our eyes, that is where the magic is. Please come “together” to help Lorena’s family adjust to a world without Lorena, and to help celebrate her wonderful life.
Transparency of funds and friendship (campaign policies)
All money raised from this campaign will go directly to Lorena’s husband Sean McDow and daughters Mireya and Gaby. They sold all of their possessions to be able to make their dream of traveling the world a reality and now they need your help. Donations will cover costs associated with getting their family back on their feet after returning to the US and to help take some of the weight off their shoulders as they work to grieve this heartbreaking loss of their amazing mother and wife.
Lorena adored her family and was a true and loyal friend. She lived life to the fullest and always had a smile on her face. Though she is gone - she will live on through the legacy she left behind, and she will always be in our hearts. We love you Lorena, Sean, Mireya, and Gaby.
