Celebrate the Life of Paulie Cortez
On the early morning of June 18th, my nephew Paulie Cortez was in a tragic car accident that ultimately ended his life. Paulie was truly one of a kind. Funny, polite, caring, passionate, and loved his friends and family, and wasn’t afraid to express it. As a kid Paulie found a passion for sports, he played football, basketball, and baseball. For many years he was the little guy on the team but he was fierce with dedication and compassion and this shined through in every game. As a young adult, he then helped coach his younger nephew in t-ball. Paulie never missed a family function or any opportunity to be with his family even if that meant fishing on the country canal bank with his Pappas and Cousins. He would often tell each and everyone he was close to how much he loved and appreciated them.
We want to give Paulie Cortez the celebration of life that he deserves, to honor his memory, and say our goodbyes as we know he is home with the Lord. I am asking for donations to help cover the cost of this celebration and any other unforeseen costs that come up during this time.
