Celebrate Timothy Brown's Life with Us
Donation protected
We are the daughters of Timothy Walter Brown, and we are raising funds for his memorial. Yesterday, we received the unexpected news of the passing of our father. We know many people will want answers, but at this time, we are still seeking those ourselves. The following information is what we do know.
At 12:05 AM on December 17th, 2024, Tim was walking along the highway near Rolla, Missouri, where he was struck by a semi-truck driver and killed. It is currently under investigation, so in the time to come, we are expecting further information to come forward. With this, we can only hope that it possibly brings some closure and answers to his family and loved ones.
There is nothing that could diminish the love Tim held in his heart for all of his friends and family. There will be many memories shared amongst you all that reflect who we all know and love; a goofy man that could find humor even in the darkest of times. He leaves behind three daughters: Bekah (31), Alexus (27), and Alivia (14) and two granddaughters Elsie (4) and Marlie (2). (Along with many others he cared for as much his own) You hear of some people having a "wild hair..." Well, we’d like to say that dad had a whole head full of wild hairs (figuratively ) ! He was always cutting up and making jokes to anyone that would listen. Jean jackets, a rock and roll CD, and some classic “dad” sunglasses was his classic look. He was so naturally funny and playful. He would give you the shirt off his back if you ever needed him.
Over the years, we had talked about this day, never dreaming it would come so soon. Please know one thing for certain: Dad wouldn't want anyone to grieve him for too long! He believed in celebrating the life that was given to you, no matter the struggles we all faced. Death was just another journey to him, a twisted adventure even!
Per his wishes, he will be cremated. We will not be having an official service, but his church is holding a celebration of life. It will be located at Bridge of Faith in Rockaway Beach, Missouri, on January 6th, 2025 @ 10:30 AM.
As I said before, this was highly unexpected. We started this GoFundMe to help cover the cost of cremation.
We deeply appreciate the love, respect, and condolences from our community at this time. All thoughts and prayers are much needed, so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you! All donations, big or small, will help tremendously, and will bring relief to our family as we try to navigate this sudden and stressful expense of laying our father to rest. My sisters and the rest of Tim's family are endlessly grateful to every person who helps!
Please, if you have ANY photos, videos, memories, stories, etc., reach out to us! It will provide a comfort in the weeks to come as we learn to live in a world without his laughter.
We never ended with goodbye, so “love you, I’ll talk to you later”
