Celebrate Verda's 90th by Helping Children

Verda Hesse, our mother, will be celebrating her 90th birthday soon, and she is at the stage where she doesn't really want anything. Over the past couple of years, she has gotten very active with Sleep in Heavenly Peace of the Mohawk Valley, where she has worked to build beds for children across the region. She has also volunteered to deliver beds to families and has gotten to meet some of the kids and families. This has become a passion for her and something she cares very deeply about.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace of the Mohawk Valley has been in the area only about 3 years and has already built and delivered over 2000 beds for children. However, there are currently another 200 on their current waiting list.

I am looking to raise $5000 to donate to Sleep in Heavenly Peace in honor of our mom. These funds will be used by SHP for their mission of ensuring no child has to sleep on the floor.
