Celebrate Wale Ayeko's Life and Legacy

In response to the many heartfelt requests from friends and family of Olawale Olufemi Ayeko-Falore, we, his siblings, have created this platform to honor his memory and accommodate those who wish to express their love and support. This GoFundMe was established to appreciate and celebrate Wale, even as we mourn his loss.

Wale was a remarkable individual—charming, loyal, selfless, and kind. He deeply impacted everyone he met, always putting others first. From teaching family and friends how to drive at a young age to offering his Staten Island apartment as a refuge for those arriving from Nigeria.

Wale lived a life full of generosity and love.He demonstrated countless selflessness in his relationship with his siblings and parents. He often expressed his sentiment, “Ti e ba ti wa ok, mo ti wa ok” (If you guys are okay, then I’m okay). He was the bridge, the mender, the builder, the mediator in our family, and a friend to everyone who crossed his path, irrespective of their background.

Since his passing, we continue to grapple with the loss of such an extraordinary man. The outpouring of condolence messages reflects the deep respect and affection he earned throughout his life. Olawale will be laid to rest on August 31, 2024.
