Celebrate Wally's Legacy: Support His Family

Donation protected
Walter “Wally” Jorgensen sadly passed away on Friday, August 9th, 2024. He went peacefully in his home surrounded by his wife of 60 years, Roberta, and his immediate family. Wally was a long-time boxing coach & cut man who brought boxing to the valley in the late 80’s; Capitol Boxing Club & Dallas Boxing Club, to name a few. He coached many amateur and professional boxers. He was a father figure to many youth who didn’t have anywhere else to turn and who came from broken homes. For many years, he operated the gyms off of donations and/or funding them himself. Wally was a caring and selfless man who gave more than he ever took.

Unfortunately, his and his wife’s declining health has taken a financial toll on the family. Due to his untimely death, the family is seeking funds to honor him and let him rest in peace. Any kind gesture you can find in your heart will be received with great gratitude from his family.
