The words from his mother:
Late Sunday evening our beautiful, gentle, intelligent and wonderful son, brother and friend William Worsham was killed in a car crash as he was driving home from Nashville to the University of TN at Knoxville. We had one of the best Thanksgiving weeks of memory as a family. He hugged us goodbye and began the journey home he would never finish. He was a Junior Supply Chain management major and represented the University so well. This past spring he completed a lucrative internship with BMW and was looking forward to an internship with Proctor and Gamble next summer, something he once only dreamed of. He was the happiest he had ever been and spoke excitedly about his future. He had so many loves, but most of all he truly loved his family and he loved being home among the Tennessee trees. At only 20, he leaves behind a mother, father Baron Worsham, step father John Peters, younger sister Isabella (Bella) Peters, grandparents Mike and Candie Worsham, Laura Tek, Arthur (late) and Gina Tek, many Aunts and Uncles who loved him dearly, countless cousins and many family members, friends and coworkers who are all reeling in his very untimely passing.
We are in truly unimaginable pain and grief at the loss of our son. It is a nightmare that can only be softened at the thought of my son being in his heavenly home. We are not ok, but it is our duty and wish to honor his memory and celebrate his life.
To be his mother, to know and love him was the greatest blessing of my life. ❤️
