We're celebrating 21 Years! Help us celebrate by making a donation today to support the artist-run nonprofit arts center. Since 2000, TOPAZ ARTS has established a vital presence within the community, providing affordable space and opportunities for both artists and audience to experience contemporary dance and visual arts.
To raise funds for TOPAZ ARTS, Paz participated in the Virtual 125th Boston Marathon on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 7:30am EST. As a Virtual Race, she successfully completed running the entire 26.2 miles in Queens, NY. TOPAZ ARTS, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization founded in 2000 by Todd B. Richmond (visual artist/composer) and Paz Tanjuaquio (choreographer/dancer) to support the creative process and foster new works in contemporary performance and visual arts. Celebrating 21 years, our programs seek to support the artistic process while engaging creative and cultural exchange with audiences. Being situated in the most diverse county in the nation – Queens – TOPAZ ARTS is the premiere cultural space, making an impact on the lives of artists and local community, supporting immigrant and BIPOC artists since our inception in 2000. Through artistic explorations, our vision is to bring works that reveal and inspire new ideas, bridging cultural connections within NYC and beyond.
