Celebrating and remembering Michael Gaffney

With the family's blessing, we have started a GoFundMe page in the memory of Michael Gaffney.

Michael Gaffney passed away on Nov 17 2021 after a courageous but much to short battle with cancer. Michael will be remembered by his wife Lisa, his son Daniel, his daughters Alison, Lauren and Emily, and his grandchild Caelan. He will be missed by all his family, friends and EMS family.

Mike was a valuable and outstanding member of our EMS family who had over five years of service with our IFT division. Mike's peers described him as having a genuine kindness that was contagious and love for the profession. He was friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor to everyone that had the pleasure of getting to know him. Mike treated every patient with the utmost compassion and respect. He will be so dearly missed.

This GoFundMe page has been created to raise funds to help assist Michael's family with funeral arrangements and any other unexpected costs from his passing.

Please lean on your fellow members and your peer support team if you are finding Mike's passing hard in this already difficult time.
