Celebrating Felicia’s Life Work
Donation protected
We are deeply saddened to share the news that Felicia Needleman Levinson passed away on July 18, 2023 after a long struggle with breast cancer.
Felicia, known to many as “Fufie”, was a wonderful wife of 35 years to Richie, a loving mother to three amazing children, Simon, James and Annabel, a devoted grandmother to Ayla, an adored big sister to Allison Gadlin and Jennifer Dorian, and beloved daughter of Susan and Stanley (decd. 1988) Needleman. She was a phenomenal writer, baker and blogger, a talented lyricist and tap dancer, and a treasured friend. We will miss her beyond measure.
Her life's work was as a musical theater writer with her long-time partner Laurence Holzman. Together, they wrote dozens of shows and hundreds of songs. One of their most beloved work is the comedy musical Jerusalem Syndrome which will be performed at the York Theater in New York City this holiday season. We invite you to come to see this show to celebrate her work and life this November and December and if you choose, donate to help support the production. Performance dates will be shared when available. You can see more about the show at the link below. With specific questions about donations or other details, please contact Laurence via the contact link on the Jerusalem Syndrome Website below: https://jerusalemsyndromemusical.com.
