Celebrating & Honouring Adam

Hello, my name is Joe and I am starting this fundraiser to help my family through this impossible journey of grief over the sudden loss of the amazing Adam Loughnane.

We celebrated Adam on Tuesday the 18th of February. There has been a massive outpouring of support for my brave brother since we went public about the myriad of systems which failed Adam.

As we move on from the funeral and the cremation, we take Adam's story to both the healthcare system and the courts system in a bid to never let this happen to anyone ever again.

We are seeking justice while navigating the grieving process. Adam's name will stay on the lips of the nation for many years to come. It is with this effort ahead that we come to you for help.

- we need to cover the costs of the funeral and cremation

- we need to have funds in place for every engagement with any inquests into Adam's passing held by the healthcare system

- we need to approach Adam's legal team and put forward the case for the clearing of his name and an official apology

- we want to fundraise to publish Adam's writings so the world can see his genius

- we want to install memorial points around Galway so Adam's courage will always be remembered

As a family, we're all just getting by financially, none of us have the disposable income to meet the costs of the sudden taking of Adam.

Adam did not go in vain. Hundreds of people have shared their stories with us about a healthcare system which has failed their love ones. To do our best by Adam, we need to build a national campaign to ensure that no one is treated, in their most vulnerable moments, like how my brother was neglected.
