Celebrating Jacob’s end of cancer treatment party

Hi, my name is Lucy I am Jacob’s mum. We are hoping to raise some money so that Jacob can celebrate and have the best end of cancer treatment party at the end of the year,with all his friends and family when hopefully he will get to ring the bell.

Jacob unfortunately got diagnosed at just three years old with leukaemia, for the last couple of years his life has been hospitals , chemo, injections , bone marrow , lumber punchers , blood tests , dressing change , blood and platelet transfusions, infections , trauma, x rays , scans , neutropenia and the list goes on with these horrible life saving treatments he’s been having. Jacob has been such a superstar and has kept the smile going through his treatment. He really has been an inspiration to everyone, being so brave, even after missing special events due to hospital admissions or chemo / nutropenic or going to preschool, he’s been in hospital through Christmas Eve / Christmas Day / his birthday and he misses swimming a lot, as it was his favourite thing to do before getting cancer ( he’s has a hickline so can’t get it wet) , but most of all he ( and we ) miss being at home with us all together as a family when he’s admitted to hospital

Thank you all for reading our story as I know cancer has touched a lot of peoples lives. It’s heartbreaking to watch people you love go through this . I know this is a big ask during these financially challenging times, so thank you for taking the time to read this.
