Celebrating life and legacy of Nimrod Gohil.
Nimrod “Rod” Gohil was a titan of cricket here in Arizona.
He loved his family, extended cricket families, and the game of cricket. He was a fierce competitor on the field. He valued sportsmanship both on and off the field; a true gentleman playing a gentlemen’s game.
He loved his Arizona Cricket Club and the “boys”. He was a fan of many sports and could often be found cheering on the Lakers and Rams when not on the cricket field. Most important of all, he loved Nichols Park. He put in countless hours building and maintaining a top notch natural turf field in Arizona. This dedication led to Nichols Park being chosen to host the 2nd ever American Cricket Federation tournament.
He touched many of us with his warmth and kindness.
Per family request, in lieu of flowers, please consider directing memorials to either one of Rod’s passions
