Celebrating Lily: Funds Collected in Lieu of Flowers

Yue “Lily” Chen, beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 2, 2025, at the age of 53.

Born on June 9, 1971, Lily was a warm and loving person whose big heart and natural ability to comfort others left an everlasting impact on everyone she met. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support made her a cherished presence in the lives of family, friends, and even strangers. Lily had a special way of making everyone feel included and valued, and she always went out of her way to help those in need.

In her free time, Lily enjoyed shopping, playing Mah-Jong, and, most importantly, spending time with her loved ones. Her love for her family was boundless, and she found joy in the moments spent with them, whether celebrating milestones or simply enjoying each other's company.

Lily is predeceased by her father, and she is survived by her daughter, Angelina; her mother; three siblings and their significant others; seven nieces and nephews (David, Raymond, Windy, Barry, Jake, Alex, and Kaden); and many more family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

A viewing will be held on February 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, located at 1650 New Road, Northfield, NJ 08234. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help cover unexpected costs during this time, with funds also being given to her daughter, Angelina, who is only 15, for her continued well-being and support.

Lily’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Her warmth and compassion will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
