Celebrating my mom! "Letty"

Mi hermosa madre fue diagnosticada con ALS en Octubre del 2022. Aquellos que no saben que es esta enfermedad, ALS representa Amyothophic Lateral Sclerosis que es fatal para la motorolidad de neuronas. En Estados Unidos usualmente se refieren a un jugador de béisbol que la tuvo Lou Gehrig 's, y probablemente escuchaste sobre el “ice bucket challenge” hace un par de años. Actualmente, no hay cura para esta enfermedad y hay tratamientos que solo alentan el progreso de la misma. Cualquiera que conoció a mi mamá, sabe que ella era super activa, siempre para arriba y abajo, ayudando a su familia y amistades que la necesitaban. Siempre llena de energía y con un espíritu de guerrera. Ahora ella ha perdido toda independencia y requiere de cuidados las 24 horas del día. Y sabemos perfectamente que somos súper afortunados de tener la ayuda de nuestra familia y amigos, sabemos que hay muchos que quisieran mostrar un detalle de apreciación. El cumpleaños de mi mama se acerca, es Julio 10, y continuamos con necesidades de cuidadoras, productos de soporte médico e higiene. Y principalmente estamos buscando modificar el baño. Anyone who met my mom, knows that she was super active, always up and down, helping her family and friends in need. Always full of energy and with a warrior spirit. Now she has lost all independence and requires 24-hour care. And we know full well that we are super lucky to have the help of our family and friends, we know that there are many who would like to show a little appreciation. My mom's birthday is coming up, it's July 10, and we continue the needs for caregivers, medical support products, and hygiene. And we're mainly looking at modifying the bathroom.
