Celebrating Nita with a Pearl Party Legacy Show
As many of you know LaNita "Pearl" McCowan unexpectedly transitioned on to be with the Lord on August 18, 2021 at 8:41pm (GMT). Nita was a lot of great and beautiful things to a lot of people and we the family hear you all when you say you want to be able to remember, contribute, pay your respects and say goodbye to her too. She loved us all and poured into everyone she met.
We want to be able to commemorate this phenomenal woman with all of you in a way that only she can.... Not with a sorrowful traditional funeral but by sharing her life story with live entertainment, timeless music, great company and positive energy. Nita is known for being unique and innovative, not to mention beautiful inside and out so we want Pearl's last party on earth to be just that. One thing Nita would not want us to do is burden her son, family and legacy with a momentous “celebration of life” (aka funeral) expenses in order to be able to accommodate everyone. Therefore, we humbly ask for some financial assistance with her legacy show and building her legacy in general. Anything you can contribute to help Rei-Jon honor his mom for this celebration show as well as help build upon LaNita "Pearl" McCowan's legacy for her son and grandsons to further build with would be greatly appreciated.
With your contributions finalized details for her services are coming soon. Please continue to follow her Facebook page for announcements regarding The Legacy Show. Another thing you can do in the meantime is gather any pictures and footage you have of her. We will need them for the show. This will be a "celebration of life" like no other and we hope to inspire others in the process. After all that is how she lived and how we want her to be remembered. A boss, a movement, a legend!!!
