Honoring Sierra's Bright Light

Our beloved Sierra passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2024. Sierra was a wonderful daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend who touched the lives of everyone around her with her warmth and generosity.
Sierra’s love for her family was boundless, and she always made it a priority to be present for those she cared about. Her family meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. Some of her happiest moments were at family gatherings and traveling to see her Texas and New York family members.
She was studying to become a nurse, driven by her passion for helping others and her desire to make a difference in the world. Sierra had a natural gift for caring and was dedicated to improving the lives of others.
Sierra also had a deep love for fashion. She was able to carve out her own unique style by marrying what she saw in her early years in Brooklyn with today’s trends. This was just one of the many ways she expressed her creativity and personality. She had an eye for beauty, which was reflected not only in her fashion choices but also in the way she viewed the world.
Intelligent, curious, and kind, Sierra had a thirst for knowledge and a heart full of compassion. Her genuine interest in others and ability to make everyone feel special set her apart. Every person Sierra interacted with felt like they were the most special person in her world.
We are all heartbroken by Sierra's sudden passing. Anyone who encountered her was immediately taken by her bright smile, quick wit, and warm presence. To know Sierra was to know what it felt like to be truly loved.
We want to honor her memory with a celebration of her life—one that reflects the joy, love, and beauty she brought to all of us. Funds collected will go toward medical expenses and this celebration that she not only would have loved but truly deserves.
