Celebrating Sy Ngoeun's Loving Legacy

Hello all,

My name is Sally Sim, I am the daughter in-law of the wonderful Sy Ngoeun who has gained his wings into heaven as of Sunday, September 22nd, 2024 who was surrounded by all of children plus loved ones at his time of passing. I have created this GoFundMe to raise funds that will be put towards the family’s future funeral plus memorial services along with any cultural gatherings to honor my father in-law’s passing in the mean time. Sy was diagnosed with a rapidly spreading brain cancer in mid August, but his wishes were to be with loved ones for his end of life. People remember him as a respectful, kind, funny and loving individual. He was never angry and appreciated all of his loved ones dearly. He loved what we called in Khmer dish “Me Ga Thang” aka Stir Fry Gravy Noodles plus always a side of Thai Tea along with his usual Coca-Cola from time to time. His smile was contagious and laughter was what instantly brighten up the room. He wil be missed dearly, but his memories live on forever.

The Sim Family is truly appreciative of any donation big or small that will go towards a future funeral/memorial service.
