Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Cindy Rangel

We, the children of Cynthia Rangel, are heartbroken to announce that our mother passed away on April 27, 2024, at Northern Nevada Medical Center. Cindy was a beacon of strength and love, not only to us—her children Stephen, Peter Gabriel Jr., Matthew, and Eloise—but also to her five grandchildren, Angelo, Noah, Amelia, Lazarus, and Ezekiel. She was predeceased by her husband and our father, Peter Gabriel Rangel, in 2022.

Cindy’s resilience and nurturing nature were evident in every smile she shared and in her compassionate care for every person she met. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, Cindy treated every patient and coworker like family. She taught us, her children, the values of hard work and commitment to family. Her unwavering support for others extended to her siblings and a large circle of nieces and nephews, creating a legacy of care and connection that resonates throughout our family and community.

Today, we reach out to you to help us honor her memory. Funds raised will support the costs associated with her memorial and other unforeseen financial needs during this challenging time. Your support will also help continue the legacy of care and compassion that Cindy championed every day.
