Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Gray Griggs

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that our dear friend Gray Griggs passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 28th, 2021.

 

Gray was an incredible husband, son, friend, and artist and he will be terribly missed by all those that knew him. Gray was truly a maverick, forging his own path and never settling for what others might consider a conventional life or the status quo. He was a deep thinker, both philosophically and spiritually, and not afraid to challenge and reinvent himself to ensure he lived his life to the fullest. This is true not only of his life’s adventures but also for who he was as an artist - his diverse music was a lifelong quest to express his deepest thoughts and feelings, and he wasn’t afraid to try new things and put himself out there.

 

Gray’s positive disposition and outlook on life was infectious. He strove daily to be the best version of himself and above all else, be the best husband to Lauren. She was his first priority and soul mate. We are so grateful for the years he was with us, to always greet us with a smile, share in our successes, and support us in our challenges, and we are honored to continue to share his legacy.

 

As we shift to celebrating his life and legacy, many have asked how you can help. This fundraiser will support Lauren Nossett, his wife and partner of over 10 years, with funeral and medical expenses. Additionally, there are so many ways to remember Gray through the great gift he gave us in his music that will live on through our lifetimes and for future generations.
