Celebrating the life of Chase Summitt

On Friday, I received a devastating call from my best friend Sabrina, her son Chase passed away. My heart is broken for her and the family, and for all of us that loved and knew Chase. Sabrina and her children will need our love and continued prayers to help them through this.

Many of you have reached out to Sabrina, she is not able to return everyone's calls or messages at this time. She and the family are experiencing an unimaginable amount of pain and need this time together to grieve. They appreciate all of you that have reached out and your kind words. Her daughter Cami asked that I help set up a Go Fund Me to help her with funeral expenses. As soon as she has more details, we will update everyone. Below is a message from Cami.


 Hi everyone. My name is Cami, and if you don’t know, I am Chase’s younger sister. My older brother Chase passed away, newly 24 years old. Chase was always such a light in everyone’s life, and I keep hearing how much of an impact he left on people. So many people say, “I am the person I am today because of Chase”. That is something to be proud of. 24 years old, and you made such a difference in this world. If you are willing and able, we are asking for donations to help with funeral costs and other arrangements. My mom is already going through enough and I do not want her to have to worry about anything else. If you can’t donate, we are asking for prayers for comfort and peace.
