Celebrating the Life of Jake Lopez
Donation protected
Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and father Jake Lopez. Jake was a large soul that cared immensely for his family members and his dog Bodi. He loved watching sports and spending quality time with his son. Jake was extremely warm and compassionate which would explain why Summer was his favorite season. He spent most days tanning on the roof blasting music but if the sun was really out, he was at the beach in Coney Island. He was a huge fan of dance music and loved to bust a move from time to time, especially a handstand. You could always spot Jake in a crowd, not just from his warm smile and large stature, but you couldn’t miss his signature bandana and tank top look. He leaves behind his partner Sarah and his 7 year old son Skyler. He will be missed dearly. While we grieve, our family is extremely appreciative of any donation to assist with the cost of ceremonial expenses. If you feel so compelled please leave a note with a fond memory you have of Jake. The funeral will take place this Sunday November 17 at 12:00 (Noon) at the Blair-Mazzarella Funeral Home. Located at 723 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11218 (between Cortelyou Road and Avenue C). The funeral home will provide a sign for your car, you can double park outside.
