Celebrating the Life of Lauren (Herb) Dow

Dear Family and Friends,

We are heartbroken to write that Lauren’s cancer treatment can no longer support her health and she has now entered into hospice care.

Lauren represents so much to so many. She is a doting mother, a devoted wife, a loving daughter, and a dear sister. She is a lifelong friend to all those who have shared in her presence. She is a consummate professional among all her colleagues at Lafayette College.

In March 2019, Lauren was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. Over the past 25 months, she has bravely bridled the challenges of her condition. She has always been an inspiration to us all and will forever remain a shining beacon of virtue in our lives.

These are the most difficult, trying times we’ve faced as a family. The hardships will continue ahead.

We humbly ask that Lauren’s family and friends consider helping to ease the challenging financial realities that remain for her husband, Brian Dow. All donations will go towards the substantial cost of medical care, household expenses, and a college fund for the kids.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and we hope to share our gratitude in person in the weeks and months to come.
