Celebrating the Life of Lemuel

We are raising money for our brother/son/father Lemuel’s homegoing expenses.   Lemmy was taken from us Wednesday October 28, 2020. He was murdered in Knoxville Tennessee while defending an extended family member.  He leaves behind a loving wife and 6 small children( including a 3,2,and 11 month old).   We, the family, just want to ship his remains back home to Detroit and give him a proper burial.  Any funds exceeding funeral and burial will be passed on to his wife and children to help offset future unforeseen expenses. Pastor Lemuel “Lemmy” Appling was a an active community leader and dedicated to the Motor City.  He was a devoted member of the church and self employed so he had no life insurance. Lemmy was one that continually sacrifice self needs for those of the community. Detroit lost a great man. Please help us transition him into the kingdom of Heaven.
