Celebrating the Life of Lexi Bell
Donation protected
On the evening of Saturday, March 25, Lexi Rose Bell passed away in her home as a result of suicide. Lexi was 18 years old.
Born June 16, 2004, Lexi grew up in Cumberland, before moving to Skowhegan where she graduated from the Skowhegan Area High School in 2022. Lexi was proudly and monumentally given the title of "Prom King." She was a student-athlete that played both soccer and tennis.
Following her dreams of becoming a marine biologist, Lexi went on to enroll in the University of Maine at Orono in the marine biology program and had recently applied for an internship on a whale-watching boat in Bar Harbor. During her short time at UMO, Lexi made lots of good friends, as she did everywhere she went.
Lexi loved cuddling with her kitty, Teddy, and the family corgi, Luke.
Lexi leaves behind a huge network and loving family and friends, including her sisters, Juliana and Jenna and her brother, Danny. Lexi was preceded in death by her sister, Raelynn. They are now together, undoubtedly having the funkiest dance party Heaven has ever seen.
The Bell-Chillington family has experienced insurmountable losses. We are seeking to help alleviate the financial burden of this tragedy, to allow them not only to grieve but to celebrate the life of sweet Lexi.
A celebration of life for Lexi will be held at The Space in Skowhegan, 181 Water Street, from 1-3pm on Saturday, April 1.
