Celebrating the life of Ninida "Nida" Saad Daus Parayno

Donation protected
On behalf of the Daus-Parayno family, It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ninida “Nida” Saad Daus Parayno on August 23, 2024, at the age of 69.

Nida was a vibrant spirit, known for her love of dancing and her impeccable fashion sense. In her youth, she was a disco queen, often seen in mini skirts and sky-high platform heels. This passion for dance continued throughout her life, as she lit up family gatherings with her stylish outfits and infectious laughter. Her signature look included her favorite color, purple, complemented by sparkly jewelry, glamorous dresses, and her iconic big hair, often adorned with a headband.

Nida's generosity knew no bounds. She made every holiday and celebration special with her thoughtful gifts, often arriving with her car filled to the brim with presents. Her crafting skills shone through in her beautifully made gift baskets and scrapbooks.

One of Nida’s proudest moments came in 2017 when her only child, Christopher married Jeanell, welcoming a wonderful daughter-in-law and becoming a grandmother to Rowan Matthew and Rylo Jai. After retiring from Long Beach Memorial Hospital, Nida cherished these last years with her grandchildren, sharing laughter and joy, and passing down Christopher's old toys to them. Her love for dancing is with Rowan Matthew and her beaming smile with Rylo Jai.

Nida passed away at home, reuniting with her parents, Cornelius Daus Sr. and Marcelina Saad Daus, her brother Robert Daus, and her beloved nieces, Maricel Sudaria Daus and Karen Daus Capalaran.

Loved so much by her tight knit Daus family, Nida is survived by her children Christopher and Jeanell, grandchildren, Rowan Matthew and Rylo Jai, her siblings, Virginia & Moreno, Jimmy & Nancy, Cornelius Jr. & Patricia, Vicfilamer & Eduardo, and Dyna; her nieces and nephews, Froylan & Joanna, Allan, Arlene & Roderick, Julie Anne & Mike, Mary Lou & Roger, Michelle, Michael, Mark, Kenneth, Lauren, and Jeanelle; her grand nieces and nephew Jaelyn, Amianan, Maleya, Melani, Razón, Malia and many relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Together with your generous contributions, we aim to ease the family's financial strain during this difficult time, allowing them to focus on processing their grief and celebrating the life of Nida. If you could please help me in sharing this campaign and keeping Chris and his family in your thoughts and prayers can make all the difference.
