Celebrating the Life of Our Beloved Damalie Lwanga
Donation protected
Our Damalie was resilient, goal-oriented, self-driven, jovial, and enjoyed life. The profile picture is an exemplar of Damalie's indefatigable pursuit of excellence. She moved to Pennsylvania on her own, worked diligently to finance her education, and earned a degree in Accountancy at Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pennsylvania. After college, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to begin her professional career
Damalie loved and served her community with utmost pride, loyalty, and joie de vivre. Particularly, within the Uganda-Atlanta Community, the Uganda North American Association, Buganda Bumu North American Convention, and her biological family in Uganda, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
Damalie's journey began in Uganda, where she returned very often to visit her family over the last three decades when she was based in the United States. We would appreciate your support in returning our beloved Damalie to Uganda in dignity for the rest of her eternal life.
While mourning a life cut short on Thursday, March 4, 2021, by the devastating COVID-19 pandemic, we are reaching out to friends, family, colleagues, and well-wishers of Damalie to seek your help with the funeral arrangements and transportation of Damalie back to Uganda.
